Singing the blues

Our first ever Blues Festival, held as part of the Stowmarket Festival, was a great success and we saw more people through the door than we could have possibly anticipated! The music was brilliant and all the bands put on a great show. Thank you to everyone that came and took part and made the day such a success!

Stowblues 2011

28^th May 2011 – time 2pm to 10pm

In conjunction with BBC Radio Suffolk and the Museum of East Anglian Life, we present "StowBlues", a free a one day event featuring blues acts from across the east of England. 

The event will be compered by Stephen Foster and recorded by Radio Suffolk with a view to broadcasting highlights from the day. Amongst a mouth-watering line-up is the brilliant guitarist Mark Flanagan from Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra! 

There will be a CAMRA supported real ale bar and food will be available from the on-site café. The running order is being confirmed but the we can confirm that the following acts will be playing at StowBlues:
